Business Support

Campbelltown City Council 'is a council that supports a strong and diverse local economy' - Towards 2020 Strategic Plan 2010 – 2020, Campbelltown Council.

Council's Economic Development Plan 2020 identifies the strengths, opportunities and gaps within the Council area that influence people’s quality of life by improving liveability in the area through an economic improvement lens.

Through advocacy for local employment for example through zoning policy, the development of business and industry partnerships, the redevelopment of precincts to increase foot traffic and the promotion of community events, facilities and attractions, Council aims to encourage and support economic sustainability.

Campbelltown Council works in partnership with the Eastside Business Enterprise Centre (EBEC) to encourage economic and business development and to promote sustainable business practices. EBEC is a not-for-profit organisation established to assist businesses in the eastern regions of Adelaide. The EBEC team provides guidance across all industry sectors and stages of development to help businesses succeed and expand network connections. EBEC points business in the right direction.
